MONASH UNI

The elevator core is clad with a prefabricated ribbed ceramic panel featuring a colorful tile pattern inspired by Michael Kitson’s ceramic mural, commissioned in 1974 for the south façade of the original building.

For this project, 50×50 mm baguette-type ceramic pieces were used in a carefully curated selection of colors, creating a visual composition that pays tribute to the original artistic design while bringing a contemporary dimension to the architecture.
