Project
Daegu National Science Museum
Location
Daegu, South Korea
At the Daegu National Science Museum, we have implemented a ventilated façade to provide children with an inspiring environment where they can explore the fascinating world of science.
Our ventilated façade not only adds a modern aesthetic look to the museum, but also provides significant functional benefits. With a carefully planned design, this façade allows for efficient air circulation, creating a comfortable environment for visitors, especially during hot summer days. In addition, the installation of the ventilated façade contributes to the sustainability of the museum by reducing the building’s thermal load, which translates into lower energy consumption for air conditioning.
Thus, while children enjoy the various hands-on activities and science programmes, they can also experience an innovative and environmentally responsible architectural environment at the Daegu National Science Museum.
